Chinese for children

Free service for everyone who wants to learn

It is free for all prospective students to find a tutor on Chinese Tutors Centre. Students will not pay anything more that the tuition fee, 100% of which goes to the tutor.

Because we do not take a margin on the tuition costs, our tutors are rewarded for creating a long-term, trusting and successful relationship with their students.

What is Chinese Tutors Centre doing for their registered tutors?

CTC offers a platform to give tutors greater, better presence on the internet, and help students of all levels to find the perfect tutor for them. We advertise their tuition on many channels, including Google and Gumtree and some professional groups with an interest in China.

We match carefully students and tutors according to the tuition requirements and geographical location.

What is the introduction fee for?

All our tutors have agreed to pay an introduction fee upon successful introduction to a new student. The fee is payable only when you get new, long term students from CTC.

Our fee system is designed to favour tutors who can create a long and trusting teaching relationship with their students. If you are a tutor and deliver quality teaching, and teach your student one hour every week for six months, the introduction fee works out to less than 8%, which is very competitive.

We believe that the one-off fee system is fairer to the tutors than taking a margin on their tuition income.

How does an introduction work?

Upon receiving a teaching request from a student, we contact all the tutors who match the location and experience requirements set by the students. If several tutors ask to be put forward, we submit the selection to the student who can decide which of the tutors he would like to meet.

What if a tuition get cancelled right at the begining?

Tutors should not have to pay an introduction fee if they cannot get at least their money back from tuition fees. This is why we have a place a refund mechanism as described in the terms and conditions.
